Site investigation at Sandymere showed that the current septic tank discharged effluent to an adjacent watercourse, hence NON COMPLIANCE with the current Environment Agency binding rules.

All surface. / roof water went to designated soak aways.

We were instructed to install a Marsh Ensign PE10 sewage package treatment plant adjacent to the existing unit, connecting to the existing inlet pipework from the property.

Based on discussions with the building inspector we decided to install a seasonal drainage pipe discharge to the receiving watercourse. The reason being that the development was an 8 bedroom property with only 3 occupants, hence te reduced discharge volume would initially utilise the ground, prior to entering the watercourse when flow was at a minimum, the Environment Agency acknowledged the process. ✔️✔️✔️

Work started on Monday 29th April 2024, building inspection to be completed on 3rd May 2024, all required documentation to be supplied direct to the client.

COST SAVING and ENVIRONMENT AGENCY COMPLIANCE

Moving over to Chester area, Woodbank Cottage, we provided a home owners drainage survey to confirm binding rules compliance, results showed surface water went to individual soak aways, but septic tank outlet discharged to land drains within the adjacent farmers field. NONE COMPLIANCE

The property was a 4 bedroom property with a 1 bedroom annex, the tank was sized in accordance with Code of Practice, Flows and Loads - 4, sizing criteria for off mains drainage systems.

Mr Davidson, instructed us to complete the installation, work commenced on Monday 8th April 2024, tank strapped and concreted into position In accordance with manufactures recommendations , building regulations, electric certification competed, unit commissioned and left fully operational, certificate supplied for new property owner.

Following a st visit 18th March 2024 @ The Limes, Northwich we ere requested to up grade the foul waste after drainage system to ensure it complied with the Environment Agency binding rules

Home owners drainage survey completed, surface / foul drainage combined, entering brick constructed septic tank prior to discharge into a water course.

ACTION ; segregate surface water to soak away, based on m2 roof area served, replace septic tank with a Marsh Ensign PE08 sewage package treatment plant adjacent to existing septic tank, connect to existing inlet / outlet pipework, infill septic tank with limed excavation spoil, reinstate, leave site clean and tidy

Property placed on market with local estate agent, compliance with all legislative requirements.

Following contact from the owner of Nettle Cottage, Hassall Road, Sandbach regarding a failed septic tank. The tank was being emptied on a regular basis ( every couple of weeks ), expensive & not sustainable. In addition a drainage survey had been completed to check outfall for blockages, outfall confirmation, the HPWJ unit could not gain entry to the outfall. ( pipe configuration )

The property owner was unhappy with the continued costs and lack of progress, hence a call to ENVIROCARE O.M.

Following a site visit, we excavated the outfall to enable the outlet pipework to be surveyed, this was completed, within 1.5 meters a buried manhole was found !!!!, survey completed finding another blockage , approximately 8 meters within driveway .

We have been instructed to excavate within location of blockage, may be a change of direction, no manhole, at which point a survey will confirm if pipework goes to ;

a) failed drainage field, or b) watercourse, all excavations will be reinstated to same, leaving site clean and tidy ⁉️

Rural Estate agents Rostons requested we look at Hurleston Cotages CW5 6BU to upgrade septic tank due to properties being sold, comply with Environment Agency binding rules.

Discussions / site visit with Mr Darlington, property owner, we provided a quotation in accordance with the Code of Practice, Flows and Loads -4, sizing criteria for off mains drainage systems. - MARSH Ensign sewage package treatment plant.

System installed w/c 5th February 2024, all appropriate documentation supplied - install completed 9th February 2024

Property sold , client / estate agent happy.

Mr Farrell, Millstream WA16 requested site visit to upgrade foul waste system to comply with Environment Agency binding rules, drainage survey completed by third party, unfortunately missed several drainage run ❌❌❌. Site visual / dye trace clarified drainage runs, quotation submitted / accepted, start 29th January 2024.

Drains segregated, sewage treatment plant repositioned within lawn area. Cheshire East building regulations, electric certification completed.

New 20 meter surface water drain direct to watercourse installed, work completed , site reinstated 12th February 2024. ( patio slabs, turf etc ). Ground work completed by Leon, weather conditions terrible 🌧️🌧️💦💦
