Case Study: Mere Brook Farm – Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade

We were contacted by telephone by the owner of Mere Brook Farm, following his discussions with neighbours whose property we had recently upgraded. That neighbouring foul wastewater upgrade, completed in July 2026, had enabled the sale of their property.

The owner of the property, wanted to bring his five-bedroom farmhouse into line with Environment Agency regulations. With a possible future sale in mind, he was keen to future-proof the property for his family.

We arranged a site meeting and carried out a visual survey. A quotation was submitted and accepted, and installation of a Marsh Ensign sewage treatment plant began the week commencing 24th August 2026.

The works were approved under Cheshire East building regulations and commissioned in line with all warranty requirements.
