1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through the Envirocare Off Mains online store, operated by LP Griffiths Ltd. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.2 LP Griffiths Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will apply from the date they are posted on the website.
1.3 Our online store is intended for customers aged 18 years or over. If you are under 18, you may only make a purchase under the supervision of an adult who will be responsible for the contract. By making a purchase, you confirm that this condition has been met.

2.1 Envirocare Off Mains supplies and sells:
Septic tanks
Sewage treatment plants
Storage tanks (including water, oil, and fuel)
Rainwater harvesting systems
Associated drainage accessories
2.2 All product descriptions are provided to the best of our knowledge. We reserve the right to update or modify product specifications, descriptions, and images without prior notice.
2.3 All product images are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary in appearance.
2.4 Products may be subject to availability. If a product is unavailable after you place an order, we will inform you and offer a refund or alternative product.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Envirocare Off Mains website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of LP Griffiths Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 4. Orders
4.1 By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.
4.2 LP Griffiths Ltd reserves the right to refuse any order at our discretion.
4.3 Once an order is placed, you will receive an email confirming receipt. This does not constitute acceptance of the order. Acceptance occurs when the order is dispatched or otherwise confirmed by LP Griffiths Ltd.
4.4 All tank orders are booked in directly with the customer prior to delivery to confirm a convenient date and any delivery requirements.
5. Pricing and VAT
5.1 All prices listed on the website are exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.
5.2 VAT will be added at checkout at the current applicable UK rate.
5.3 Prices may change from time to time. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of placing your order.
5.4 All payments must be made in full prior to dispatch of goods.
6. Payment
6.1 Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering via our secure online payment system.
6.2 Payment can be made via the methods displayed at checkout.
6.3 All transactions are subject to validation and authorisation by the payment provider.
6.4 LP Griffiths Ltd reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order where payment cannot be validated.
7. Delivery
7.1 Delivery charges are included in the final shopping basket for mainland UK. Additional charges may apply for Scotland, islands, and other non-mainland UK locations.
7.2 All tank orders are booked in with the customer prior to delivery to confirm access, site requirements, and a convenient delivery date.
7.3 We aim to deliver most tanks within 10 working days from order and payment. Larger or specialist items may take longer. Contact us if your order is time-critical.
7.4 “Free Delivery” applies to mainland UK destinations only. Any manufacturer surcharges for non-mainland UK deliveries will be communicated prior to dispatch.
7.5 Delivery times are estimated; exact times cannot be guaranteed. Additional fees may apply for specific delivery time requests.
7.6 Some deliveries require larger vehicles. Customers must advise if access is restricted. We will contact you to arrange alternative delivery if necessary.
7.7 Offloading is always the customer’s responsibility. Suitable equipment must be available to safely remove goods from the delivery vehicle.
7.8 Delivery drivers are not permitted to enter your property or place items in specific locations. Delivery will be made to the nearest safe point accessible by the vehicle.
7.9 Deliveries of larger products (typically over 2,500 litres) may require an articulated vehicle. Customers must ensure sufficient access or contact us to arrange alternatives.
7.10 If access to your property is restricted, please arrange delivery to an alternative address where access is suitable. Any onward transport from that address to the final destination is your responsibility.
7.11 If a delivery is aborted due to access issues or unavailability, LP Griffiths Ltd reserves the right to charge for any additional delivery costs incurred.
7.12 Whilst every effort is made to deliver on the expected date, LP Griffiths Ltd cannot accept liability for labour costs or compensation claims arising from failed or delayed deliveries. Customers are strongly recommended to order well in advance of installation.
7.13 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Ownership passes only when full payment, including delivery charges, has been received.
8. Returns and Cancellations
8.1 Bespoke or made-to-order tanks and equipment cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
8.2 Standard items can be cancelled or returned within 14 days of receipt, subject to our returns policy.
8.3 Returned goods must be in original, unused condition and packaging suitable for safe return.
8.4 Customers are responsible for return shipping and offloading unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
9. Liability
9.1 LP Griffiths Ltd will not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Loss of profits, revenue, or business
Costs incurred due to delivery delays
9.2 Total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods supplied.
9.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
10.1 Product Use: Products purchased from the LP Griffiths Ltd online store are intended for their specified purposes only. Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their intended use and that any handling, installation, or maintenance complies with UK Building Regulations, Environmental Agency requirements, manufacturer instructions, and applicable laws.
10.2 Installation of Store Products: LP Griffiths Ltd offers professional installation services for products purchased from our online store. However, we cannot accept responsibility for installation carried out by the customer or any third party not contracted through us. Any damage, loss, or injury arising from incorrect, incomplete, or unsafe installation by anyone other than LP Griffiths Ltd personnel is the responsibility of the installer.
10.3 Professional Advice / Consultancy: Advice, recommendations, or consultancy provided by LP Griffiths Ltd is for guidance only and does not replace statutory obligations, surveys, or regulatory approvals. We accept no liability for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate information or unforeseen circumstances.

10.5 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, LP Griffiths Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, arising from the use of products purchased from the online store, services, or website content, including damage caused by improper installation or misuse.
11. Force Majeure
11.1 LP Griffiths Ltd shall not be liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, supplier failures, government restrictions, or extreme weather. Delivery dates and performance timelines will be extended accordingly.

12.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
