Dairy House Barnes - drainage failure.
We attended site at The Dairy, 1 of 4 barns converted to residential dwellings, the manhole from the development to the sewage treatment plant was partially full of sewage / paper products, restricting the flow into the sewage plant.
The sewage plant was emptied / desludged and all pipe runs jetted clear leaving the plant fully operational.
We completed a levels survey which confirmed the pipe foul line was level, possible back fall, hence reducing flow and blockages !
The client was informed of our findings and recommendations to reposition the drainage runs In accordance with current building regulations. Unfortunately we believe that the foul system installation was not covered by building regulations ❌, non compliance with Environment Agency binding rules.
