Septic tank failure - Nettle Cottage.

Following contact from the owner of Nettle Cottage, Hassall Road, Sandbach regarding a failed septic tank.

The tank was being emptied on a regular basis ( every couple of weeks ), expensive & not sustainable. In addition a drainage survey had been completed to check outfall for blockages, outfall confirmation, the HPWJ unit could not gain entry to the outfall. ( pipe configuration )

The property owner was unhappy with the continued costs and lack of progress, hence a call to ENVIROCARE O.M.

Following a site visit, we excavated the outfall to enable the outlet pipework to be surveyed, this was completed, within 1.5 meters a buried manhole was found !!!!, survey completed finding another blockage , approximately 8 meters within driveway .

We have been instructed to excavate within location of blockage, may be a change of direction, no manhole, at which point a survey will confirm if pipework goes to ;

a) failed drainage field, or b) watercourse, all excavations will be reinstated to same, leaving site clean and tidy ⁉️
