Is my sewage plant working correctly?

We were recently requested to confirm if the sewage treatment plant at The Old Barn was operating correctly. The property is under offer and the solicitors require confirmation that the foul system complied with Environment Agency binding rules.


We organised a desludge, service and outlet CCTV survey to confirm compliance.

  • Treatment plant correct size, serviced, diaphragms replaced and report supplied.

  • Desludge completed, tank surcharged, certificate supplied.

  • CCTV survey showed ‘ T ‘ pipe blocked with media reducing outlet flow, securing net lifted; cleared and repaired.

  • The outlet pipe was HPWJ clear, CCTV showing outlet drains all working and clear.
