We attended a domestic property on behalf of Mr J Hopley to confirm if it complied with the Environment Agency binding rules, he had been told that the system was in full working order, no problems, emptied as and when required, no documentation available

Mr Hopley’s question - did the system comply ? what will I have to do to comply ? how much will it cost to rectify and who pays.?

OUR RECOMMENDATION -

  • arrange home owners drainage survey and desludge septic tank - Cost £440.00 plus vat

  • confirm size of septic tank, internal fibre of tank, { Desludge included within survey }

  • provide video, drainage drawing and compliance report

  • Provide a budget supply / installation report , installation schedule & cost.

    WHO PAYS - the system does NOT comply, upgrade / compliance is the responsibility of the existing property owner
