Site Visit - compliance issues

Following a site visit in Buerton Cheshire we were asked if the property sewage system complied with Environment Agency binding rules.

The current tank could not be classed as a septic tank, no ‘ T ‘ pipes in position, large quantity of floating material on tank which discharges into a soak away !!!!

Unfortunately the property sale should complete next week { w/c 21st October 2024 ),

Our recommendations is to complete Home Owners drainage survey, upgrade system with ;

a) new septic tank and drainage field, or b) install sewage package treatment plant.

Waiting confirmation from client, very confused, awaiting costings !
