Following a telephone call regarding blocked drains, we organised a site visit to HPWJ the foul drains to remove any blockages.. The property owner new they had a sewage package treatment plant, had never had it desludged or serviced for over 3 years, when we removed the cover the following was noted ;-

a) sewage plant full to brim.

b) blower not operating.

c) outfall manhole & pipework blocked.

We organise Envirocare (NW ) Ltd to attend site, desludged sewage treatment plant, HPWJ outfall pipework back to tank, then all foul drains around property HPWJ to tank, desludged again, sewage plant cleaned and emptied, waste transferred to registered disposal site with all relevant duty of care documentation.

Blower replaced, serviced / commissioned left fully operational.

Development placed on annual service / desludge contract.

Following discussions with our client, after numerous phone calls with the on line sewage treatment plant supplier we finally obtained a tank which would serve the properties. Client told that the tank delivered could not be returned / exchanged, wrong invert depth, not adequate in capacity for the development ( PE06 ). PE10 required to comply with binding rules.

Beware when ordering on line sewage treatment plants - ensure you have the required information regarding site requirements - not always the most effective way to buy !

Septic tank failed, drainage field blinded.

Investigation showed the brick constructed septic tank walls were porous, no ‘ T ‘ pipe on outlet, porosity test completed, results OK, linear meters drainage field calculated.

Desludged septic tank, excavated out concrete base to install a traditional 10 person Kingspan septic tank, concrete into position connecting to existing foul inlet pipework.

Constructed a 56 linear meter traditional drainage field, terram membrane, drainage gravel, 4” / 110 perforated UPVC pipework, cover with drainage gravel, close terram membrane and back fill with as dug spoil, relay turf.

Should be completed 4th May 2023.

Mr Wallace @ keepers Cottage required a septic tank replacement to adhere to Environment Agency binding rules and sell his property. We completed an home owners drainage survey to confirm surface & foul drains segregated, all OK. ✔️

Following a call from a member of the management committee at CH4 8DX barn conversions, we were asked if ;-

a) would we install a Klargester RBC sewage package treatment plant to existing property drainage.

b) an homeowner was a surveyor, he had calculated invert levels, drainage survey completed, all electrical

Contacted by Mr & Mrs Watson, @ SK5 6NS, requesting an installation of Marsh Ensign sewage package treatment plant for a barn conversion.

The tank required installing prior to the completion of the development, due to,access problems when the double garage constructed, { access for track machines would be restricted }

The initial installation was to install, inlet manhole, sewage package treatment plant and outlet manhole, this would be constructed as an Environment Agency sampling point as it would also receive surface water prior to discharge to the watercourse.

All foul & surface water drainage would be installed by developers ground workers.
