> complete a porosity test to confirm that the designated area will sustain a drainage field.
> the results will clarify if
1/ a drainage field operate efficiently
2/ the linear meterage of drainage field required to serve the development
3/ the size of septic tank required to serve the development In accordance with current building regulations

The unit had been sized correctly In accordance with the Code of Practice,Flows and Loads - 4 sizing criteria for off mains drainage systems, installation was completed within 4 working days, building regulations & electric certification approved / passed.

NONE COMPLIANCE ISSUES
The above treatment plant serves 2 x 4 bedroom properties, one of the properties is now for sale, unfortunately the property can not be sold until the foul waste water system is upgraded to comply with the current Environment Agency binding rules.
Unfortunately the owner of the property which is not for sale does NOT want to upgrade the system. Not currently selling their property.
We have discussed the issues with the property owner and suggested that they install a sewage plant for their 4 bedroom properties, and ask their solicitor to serve notice on the 2nd property to install their own system.
The current unit is on the property which is for sale, and does not comply with current legislation, which would cause an issue with the Environment Agency, pollution issues
Awaiting instructions to continue.
REQUESTED SITE VISIT - save money , client to install a new system.
Following a site visit today, the question I was asked is ‘ does my system comply with current Environment Agency binding rules ‘ !!!!
When I explained that a replacement unit would be required, an home owners drainage survey was organised and a provisional order placed for a Marsh Ensign PE06IPS sewage treatment plant
Our client is confident he can install the new sewage treatment plant with is own farming staff, we have provided / confirmed a commissioning visit as and when required.
