HOOTER HALL FARM
Following an inquiry from the site trust owner of Hooter Hall Farm, a sewage package treatment plant was installed by a building contractor, the discharge from the plant combined with the surface water drainage which entered a newly excavated pond. The system did not comply with current Environment Agency legislation, due to it entering a non flowing pond, hence building regulations not passed .
Envirocare Off Mains attended the site and diverted the foul water discharge around the field boundary into the existing / flowing watercourse approved by the Environment Agency and building control, the system did not require a consent has the discharge volume was below 5 m3 / day { actual 1.8 m3 / day }.
