SANDIWAY BUNGALOW - Home owners drainage survey.

Following an instruction from our client in New Zealand, who owns several properties in Cheshire, we were instructed to confirm / clarify that the property adhered to the current Environment Agency binding rules.

We completed a Home owners drainage survey, which showed ;-

> surface / foul drainage segregated. ✔️

> septic tank @ correct working level. ✔️

> unable to access drainage field / discharge pipework, no access manhole. ❌

ACTION ; to install a new manhole on septic tank outlet, completed ✔️

Survey of outfall from new manhole, within 2 linear meters a major displacement / subsidence was observed.

CONCLUSION - to install a new drainage field in accordance with current building regulations / tests.
